Originally from Albuquerque, NM I now reside in Michigan where I am working on my Ph.D. in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). I got my B.A. from the University of New Mexico--my hometown university--and I rep Burque and New Mexico as much as possible. I grew up a 49ers fan and a fan of all things basketball. I became a Pistons fan after falling love with the Going to Work teams (Chau-ncey B-B-B-Billups and Ben WWWWallace are my favorite players of all time). Along the way I also developed a love for football and am a fan of Arsenal mainly due to my respect and admiration for Arsene Wenger. I am Dine (Navajo) on my mother's side and strive to help create more representation for Native Americans in American mass media.
