Antonio McDyess - 2000 Sydney Olympics (USA)

Early in his career, Antonio McDyess was selected to compete with team USA in the 2000 Sydney Olympic games in which they went to go onto win gold. McDyess contributed to the team, averaging 7.6 PPG and nearly 6 RPG in the men's tournament. Although coming off of the bench, "Dice" provided a crucial spark to help USA win it all.

With the Pistons, McDyess reinventend his game after being troubled with numerous injuries prior. McDyess helped lead Detroit to the 2005 Eastern Conference Finals, before falling to the Spurs in the Finals. In five seasons as a Piston, McDyess averaged 8.7 PPG and 7.1 RPG, primarily coming off of the bench in that span.

Allan Houston - 2000 Sydney Olympics (USA)

Next to McDyess was shooting guard Allan Houston. In their gold medal run, Houston helped team USA by averaging 8 PPG in seven games played. Although not necessarily a flashy and deep star-studded roster, Houston and USA's efforts brought them a third straight gold medal.

As a Piston, Houston averaged 14.3 PPG in three seasons. Most notably as a Knick, however, Houston ended his career as a two-time all star and key contributor to New York's success at the time.
