In the latest edition of Around the ‘net, we highlight the best Andre Drummond stories and take a look at Detroit Pistons previews for the 2019-20 season.

It’s the dead period of the NBA season when the most excitement builds from contemplating a potential Detroit Pistons preseason schedule. The good news is four games are known.

The NBA will release the 2019-20 NBA schedule on Monday at 3 p.m. ET. There’s something to look forward to, getting us through the weekend after all.

Around the ‘net was created to highlight stories written about the Pistons from local media. Then we break out into a look at what others have written around the league and, of course, what the Piston Powered team whipped together.

It’s an idea by a journalist from the newspaper industry. Piston Powered Site Expert has been active on social media, namely Twitter (@Sports_Aaron), in the charge to support local journalism with corporate companies laying talented journalists off across the country.

It is preview season for most publications around the league with such little news to breakdown. It’s also Andre Drummond’s birthday, so several stories will be sprinkled in about him.
