Detroit Pistons 2019-2020 Preview: Blake Griffin
Griffin’s outlook
What can happen, what could be, and what should be are all the same thought for Pistons fans – Blake Griffin should receive the league wide recognition he deserves for the performances he’s consistently putting on for the Detroit Pistons. If what he did last season carries into this one, there is a real chance he could receive MVP consideration depending on where the Pistons record is at the end of the season.

His three point shot is transcending, his court vision is improving every season, and his athleticism has yet to leave him. What he means to this Detroit Pistons team is something that an individual player hasn’t meant in a long time.
Blake’s bread and butter last season seemed to be the hand-offs along the perimeter coming off of a screen, and there’s no reason that isn’t expected to continue has he hit a considerable number of three’s off of that. His ball handling skills go largely unnoticed, and those are fully expected to return as well.
Ultimately, Blake Griffin is hope for the Detroit Pistons. He’s the quintessential embodiment of what fans are looking for in that team, and he could very well will his team to another playoff appearance.
