Detroit Pistons: Free agents on the Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers do not have a single pending free agent who would interest the Detroit Pistons unless they wanted to bring Reggie Jackson back to finish his career in Detroit. Jackson was actually very good this season off the bench for the Clippers and seems to have finally found his niche as a role player, which is what he should have been all along.

So I’d instead like to take moment to point out that former Piston Luke Kennard has yet to play in the playoffs for the Clippers and is being paid $16 million per season. Please remember that the next time you cry about the Pistons giving up second-round picks in a trade.

NBA Free Agents: Austin Rivers of the Denver Nuggets

Ok, so there isn’t much here either, which explains why Austin Rivers’ name has made an appearance. Sure, I’d love the Pistons to make a play for Michael Porter Jr. but that is not happening.

Rivers would only be an option if the Pistons were looking for a minimum player to replace Wayne Ellington as a veteran, off-the-bench shooter.

I don’t see a lot of interest here though, so the Nuggets aren’t much of an option.
